That’s heavy. The problem is wall mounting. You can’t just use simple plugs in aerated concrete or hollow brick blocks. You need to use injection mortar with a Fischer FIS system. That will hold securely.

That's right. For this reason as well, I prefer a slab on a nice metal frame.

You can choose an expensive oak board from DSvhjreiner, but you can just as easily have 40mm (1.5 inch) plywood cut to size at a lumber yard for very little money, with the edges chamfered, oiled, and done. Or MDF, which is even available pre-colored red or black, or you can paint or spray it any way you like—your imagination is the only limit, and none of this requires advanced DIY skills. Depending on the installation situation, you could also just pick up a table or worktop from IKEA; they really have some nice options for very reasonable prices. I have a steel frame from a metalworker on one side and just resting against the wall on the other, which cost around €50. Anyone can be expensive......

We also have a countertop from IKEA, with a wall-mounted washbasin, but it looks like the washbasin is sitting on the countertop, which is supported by legs. Underneath is the Godmorgon unit.
