Hello! So far, the terrace had tiles that after 30 years lifted during this winter and now have to be removed. For various reasons (door, floor hatch due to a crawl space, etc.), I only have the build-up height of the tiles and maybe an additional 1cm (0.4 inches). Wood, WPC, stone slabs, and resin are therefore not options for me. I can well imagine a concrete terrace or something in industrial design. Preferably a uniform surface in gray or anthracite, possibly with a slight marble effect.

Do you have any ideas on how I can do the floor? The base is concrete. Is it possible to simply level it with filler and seal it with a special paint?

You can do that, but it’s probably the ugliest option you can imagine. However, there is a group of people who really like it – Turkish homeowners. For some reason...

That's true. But your current tiles are also laid on some kind of substrate, which would have to be removed once the tiles are taken up, right?

They are laid only with adhesive, directly on the concrete, which I do not want to remove. The tile is only 8 mm (0.3 inches) thick.
