ᐅ Exterior House Color Design / Color Coordination – Experiences?

Good evening everyone,

We are currently planning the exterior design of our house and would appreciate advice from those with building experience 🙂

How did you approach the color scheme for the outside? For example, the roof tile color, window frames, front door, garage door, and so on?

There is always the option to choose RAL colors... Has anyone done this, or how did you coordinate your colors?

(PS: Our house will be white, and the tiles/windows/front door, etc., will be in a dark gray/light black tone...)

Very few in a new build... except for my wife 😀

Because I don’t see a (bold) color alternative for us (!) other than color accents.

For myself (!), I would probably lean toward a reddish roof and a yellowish facade. Windows in white.

Maybe a light facade. Accents in Swedish red, and then the roof ... ???

Or even the facade in Swedish red 😀 I find the colors on the left more appealing.

Then the garden shed in Swedish red too, but with white trim. Opposite to the house.

If we ever decide to move to Spain, it will be something Mediterranean.

Here, the weather often makes the sky gray, so it’s a pity when this also dominates the appearance of the houses.

I also wanted red/yellow/white. The compromise was red-white/white/base anthracite. Gray garage. It’s definitely simple. It would gain a bit with some yellow, but the wife doesn’t want it.
