Hello everyone,

I recently watched a YouTube video from Smartest Home about the new funding program for smart home integration in new constructions (also existing buildings). Has anyone dealt with this before? I find the topic of funding somewhat difficult to understand. Apparently, you can claim up to €50,000. I would like to have a KNX system installed in my single-family house, which is not built yet, but so far I haven't allocated much budget for KNX. How can I solve this problem?

Best regards,
Stefan

We have now received the grant approval. So, am I allowed to start purchasing components from now on?
What exactly do you mean by basic equipment? Could you please list the components you have in mind?

Everything that the bus strictly needs to function and to integrate heating and controlled residential ventilation. This includes the IP router, power supply, Modbus gateway, and wiring. For heating and controlled residential ventilation, the corresponding interface cards were added. Additionally, we included the logic module, visualization, weather station, room controllers, shutter actuators, and so on. I don’t have the exact list of what we submitted at hand right now.

Hello everyone,
For those following this... our notification regarding KNX was rejected.
After a somewhat lengthy phone call with the department, they said the components are only credited for existing buildings and not for new constructions...???
I know this is nonsense. The information sheet (version 2 at the time of application) is at home.
The second appeal is being prepared.

Do you have the notifications for a new build or an existing property???

New construction. The reasoning is nonsense. It won’t help you at all in the beginning.

Hello,
Today I had another phone call with a lady from the Bafa department, and she gave me another explanation.
The entire smart home setup operates completely behind the heating control valve (HKV).
It’s great that they have experts there...

Anyway, her statement was that everything before the heating control valve is eligible for funding... which I also agree with. In my case, however, this seems to be considered unreliable.
Status of my case: it has not been decided yet.

People... this is really a joke.

Guys… this is really a joke.

What have you submitted so far?
