Hello everyone,
for our new build, a underfloor heating system is planned. When installing it, I wanted to reduce the spacing from 16 cm to 10 or 12 cm. In the living and dining rooms, there should be 3 circuits instead of 2, because the two circuits cover 116 m (381 ft). Today we received a cost estimate. Reducing the spacing from 16 cm to 8 cm for the entire house would cost 11,623 euros. If we only want to reduce the spacing in the living room, it would cost 374 euros. The house is 133 m² (1,432 sq ft) and will have an air-to-water heat pump. I find this quite expensive for the whole house.
What do you think? Has anyone had experience with this? Does it really cost that much?
Thank you in advance.

Hello everyone,
For our new build, a underfloor heating system is planned. When installing it, I wanted to reduce the spacing from 16 cm (6.3 inches) to 10 or 12 cm (4 to 4.7 inches). In the living and dining rooms, there should be 3 loops instead of 2, because the two loops are 116 m (380 feet) long. Today we received a cost estimate. Reducing the spacing from 16 cm (6.3 inches) to 8 cm (3.1 inches) for the entire house would cost 11,623 euros. If we only reduce the spacing in the living room, it would cost just 374 euros. The house is 133 m² (1,432 sq ft) in size and will have an air-to-water heat pump. I think that is quite expensive for the whole house.

Thanks in advance.
Viktoria Sounds like a rip-off...
