I thought a garden chat and photo thread would be a good idea.
This way, we have a space to share current pictures and discuss dandelions and other plants.

The space needed for a lounge area is huge. 5x5 meters (16x16 feet) is not small. As you can see from your pasted floor plans, it’s not too much space.

Exactly. I slightly underestimated that too. 25 square meters (270 square feet) doesn’t sound like much at first, but with the bulky furniture (especially the armchairs!), I’m just about at the limit.

By the way, I’m going with the Artelia RN-1 XL lounge set. There will also be a turquoise outdoor rug.

I already know that the low table is going to annoy me a lot 🙄

It is not a dining area.
In my opinion, it is an outdoor sofa arrangement. A cozy addition to the dining space.

Still, people want to place glasses or cups down there and not hold them constantly.

The question is whether 350 lumens are enough...
With 350 lumens and a wide beam angle at a few meters distance, you will get a moderately bright and clearly visible light. What really matters is the lux level on the target. Like @rick2018, I would consider the light distribution carefully. A spotlight in a large canopy of leaves can look either effective or ridiculous. If the design of the fixture is not that important, you can find interesting options in the outdoor stage lighting category. These focus strongly on price and lamp availability. Take a look at the website of the large music store in Cologne.

Or you outsource your own movement and let wine and grapes be handed to you...

But that only works if the incidence rate allows for "close-contact services" ... 😉

Why illuminate a tree at all? Light pollution is increasing more and more. I would only turn something like that on if I were sitting in the garden at night; otherwise, rather not.
Nocturnal animals like hedgehogs are extremely disturbed by it.
