I thought a garden chat and photo thread would be a good idea.
This way, we have a space to share current pictures and discuss dandelions and other plants.

Would you like to explain that to me, or do I understand correctly that you assume there are people who don’t like crocuses in their lawn? Apparently, such people do exist 🙂
Yesterday, I pruned my lemon trees drastically and had to remove all the frost-damaged leaves 🙁
I’m no longer going to bother with sowing seeds. I’m planning a vacation in mid-May, so I’ll have to buy mature plants later.

Fummelbrett!2 Mar 2021 11:42The jostaberry mainly got the cover because it is located right next to the fig, and the cover is very large in size. Yes, and the jostaberry is probably about to bloom... so it just made sense.
My Solanum is also one of those pity plants. It was left unwatered and almost dead at BayWa and was available about 16 years ago as a standard tree for 99 cents. Since then, it has bloomed reliably every year. I don’t give it a very large pot because I don’t want a huge plant, but it just won’t give up.
