Hey,

is it normal to have this much ice?

At night, -15°C (5°F) is normal if this is an "infiltration drainage," meaning there is no separate drainage channel for the meltwater.

Exactly, there is no separate drainage... it simply goes down into the splash guard...

Same here. Guys, we have -10 to -15 degrees Celsius (14 to 5 degrees Fahrenheit) at night, and during the day we go ice skating on the frozen lakes...

I will check on that, but as long as it doesn’t affect the functionality, it’s not a problem.

Completely normal, with our neighbors (we don’t have an air source heat pump) it also currently looks like this without a dedicated drain.
