Hello,
Has anyone here built a house without a basement on a slope? I would appreciate some pictures to get a better idea. We have an elevation difference of about 5 m (16 feet) from the street to the property boundary, which is approximately 25 m (82 feet) away, and the finished floor level (FFL) is planned to be 1.66 m (5.4 feet) above the street, with the garage 0.5 m (1.6 feet) lower.

I have sketched everything out. At this point, no retaining walls will be necessary; I will post the details tomorrow.
I'm not quite finished with the room layout yet.
It will be similar to what @haydee described.
How many bedrooms are planned?
I have currently planned for 100m² (1,076 sq ft) per floor, approximately 150m² (1,615 sq ft) of living space. 150 * 2,500 Euros = 375,000 Euros plus 35,000 Euros for the garage.
2 children's rooms, bathroom, entrance, hallway, cloakroom, utility room, basement, etc. in the basement level.
Living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, and terrace on the ground floor.
Office in the attic.

We have now increased the budget for the exterior landscaping to 25,000 (currency), and we are doing the entire landscaping work ourselves. However, I want to use formwork blocks and not build any retaining walls taller than 1.5 meters (5 feet).haydee schrieb:

Honestly, 50,000 (currency)
and you save on terrace shading for that 😎 That is never enough. According to the plan:
45 meters (148 feet) of retaining wall, 1 to 3 meters (3 to 10 feet) high, excavation volume 300 m³ (394 yd³) to be disposed of, etc. 75,000 to 100,000 (currency)
With protection for the neighboring property, easily 50,000 (currency) extra.

How many bedrooms do you want?
I have planned about 100m2 (1,076 sq ft) per floor, approximately 150m2 (1,615 sq ft) of living space. 150 × 2,500 Euro = 375,000 Euro plus garage 35,000 Euro.
2 children’s bedrooms, bathroom, entrance, hallway, wardrobe, utility room, basement, etc. in the basement level.
Living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, and terrace on the ground floor.
Office in the attic. 2 children’s bedrooms should be enough, thank you very much for your effort. I will probably withdraw the building permit / planning permission and redesign.
