KfW 55 standard
Mechanical ventilation with heat recovery
Current outdoor temperature 6°C (43°F)
Heating energy consumption including hot water 35 kWh
Electricity consumption 9 kWh
COP 3.88

I don’t quite get it either. The running pattern looks flawless, the pauses you’re referring to are defrost cycles...

What puzzles me more is why it stops heating at the end. Do you have any shutdown processes like p0_pause or something similar in the log?

Where do you see that it stops? One thing is the defrost cycles, and at the other end, it reached the target return temperature plus hysteresis and then switches off.

Even if your modulating pump is much too large, it should never shut off at around -5°C (23°F). The hysteresis looks like around 2K, right?

It's the same for me. I don’t know why either...
Within one hour, the return flow drops by 3°C (5.4°F).
