Hello,
since we have screwed solid wood planks on joists in almost the entire house for many years and really liked it, we are now considering whether to choose solid wood planks again in the new house, but this time with underfloor heating and therefore directly on the screed.
We do not want an adhesive floor, so we are looking for experiences with floating solid wood plank installations.

Very nice!
So far, I’ve been looking at a Meister model with a very similar appearance.
Could you tell us the name of your parquet flooring?

We have a large area covered with Meister PD200 Oak lively, brushed and UV-oiled, no. 8163 and 8166. It’s installed as a floating floor but is absolutely great. There are one or more dealers selling second-grade stock of this, which we took for €25 including VAT and transport. In my opinion, this is first-grade quality, especially technically—there have been no issues at all. Waste was almost zero, though in our own house I might have placed a few planks under the kitchen or furniture since they were slightly more reddish than the others. Overall, the flooring is top quality and an amazing price. I would definitely choose this again if I’m looking for prefinished parquet and also need to cover larger areas.
Ours looks basically like the one of @Bertram100, standard oak.
This version was ready to install; I spoke with the factory, and it is UV-oiled at the factory, which is technically somewhat similar to lacquering, but you can touch it up with oil locally if needed. The floor does not have a glossy finish but appears oiled, making it easy to maintain since it doesn’t require re-oiling. I didn’t want lacquered flooring, but I liked this Meister version both in terms of appearance and maintenance effort. Installation was completely trouble-free.

I’m always amazed at how much our preferences and tastes align... 😉

Although the 8163/8166 shades are slightly too dark and lively for us (actually more for my wife), I’m also considering exactly this “source.” So I will also look for second-grade stock and am confident that no one will notice a difference compared to first grade. I have had very good experiences in the past with second-grade purchases (Meister) and never regretted it. Most of those were high-quality laminate floors, but the condition was always excellent along with significant savings on the purchase price. 🙂

Thanks also for your confirmation!

By the way, what has your experience been with parquet flooring in the kitchen? Possibly also in the hallway or entrance area?

We installed Meister PD200 oak, lively brushed and UV-oiled, no. 8163 and 8166, over a large area. It was laid as a floating floor and looks absolutely fantastic. There are one or more suppliers who sell seconds of this product; we bought those for €25 gross including transport. In my opinion, this is actually first quality—technically perfect with no issues at all. There was almost no waste, although in my own home I would have placed a few boards under the kitchen or furniture because they were slightly redder than the others. Our floor basically looks like the one from @Bertram100, just oak. However, this one was installation-ready. I talked with the manufacturer by phone; it is factory UV-oiled, which is technically somewhat similar to lacquer, but unlike lacquer, it can be spot-re-oiled if needed. The floor doesn’t have a shiny finish but looks oiled, making it easy to maintain since it does not require regular re-oiling. I didn’t want a lacquered floor anyway, but I liked this version from Meister both for the look and the low maintenance. Installation was completely trouble-free.

Would you mind sharing the name of the seller you bought it from?

Experience with parquet flooring... but this is also available for Haro and other products.

Floating installation.
For completeness:
That works – board by board – fastened with clips, or pressed together from the outside, starting at the walls, using tongue joints (I’m not sure if this has already been mentioned here).
The latter seems "smarter" to me. But that is just my layperson’s opinion.
