Hausbau0815Yeah, nonsense, right?!
I'm actually interested in the house design that leads to such nonsense here.
What kind of pipe is that... and why does it have to go exactly where nothing is supposed to be? I haven't followed the other thread, but does your build involve individual homeowner requests clashing with a standard production house?

Hello, I would like to hear your opinions on this method of installing and taping—or rather not taping—the vapor barriers. Well, no one would call this state-of-the-art; there’s nothing more to say about it. What does your inspector say?

The inspector did not notice this because the drywall was in front of it at that time. We only discovered it now during the demolition. And there is no execution plan available. I assume this is a ventilation pipe from the bathroom on the floor below. If that is the case, there should be another one appearing on the other side of the house as well.

And there is no detailed construction plan after all. ...saved money in the wrong place! No detailed construction plan for the trades combined with mixed construction crews... you really can’t be surprised now!
