I need some advice regarding the wall mounting of the Ikea Besta system.
We want to buy the TV stand (120cm (47 inches) wide) from Besta and eventually hang it on the wall. Additionally, we want to mount one Besta cabinet (60cm (24 inches) wide) flush on both the left and right sides of the TV stand.
So essentially, we will have a 240cm (94 inches) wide TV stand setup.
According to Ikea, the 120cm (47 inches) wide TV stand is mounted directly to the wall without a wall rail, while the cabinets (60cm (24 inches)) come with a wall rail.
Now my question is: Can I also mount the TV stand to the wall using two wall rails (each 60cm (24 inches) wide)? This way, I could mount the entire Besta system with wall rails. Or do you have better suggestions for wall mounting it?
Thanks in advance.
Best regards

Best regardsYou might want to check the kitchen section at Ikea, as they have long rails for kitchen cabinets. Perhaps you could hang everything on a single rail.@krebelski Have you already installed your TV stand? Mine is assembled now, and I’ve got suitable wall plugs for a Poroton wall. There are 4 screws intended for the TV stand. However, I would prefer to use some kind of hanging system instead of simply placing the TV stand against the wall and screwing it in place. But maybe I’m just more cautious and will start by putting the TV stand on legs first.
