since I am not an expert in this field and want to avoid making mistakes, I would like to know your opinion.
We have purchased a newly built house from a developer, and currently the electrician is working on the property. A high-voltage connection is planned for the garage. However, an electric or hybrid car is not planned within the next 1-2 years. Does it make sense to have a wall box installed right away because of the current incentives? At least that is what the electrician suggested.
Or is just running the cable enough for now (is there any funding for that)? How would you proceed?

That’s the big catch. There are hardly any charging stations that currently support this, and if they do, they usually cost around 1,500 euros instead of 400 euros.
The second major drawback: you are only allowed 11 kW, and they can switch off the unit at any time. The same goes for the heat pump. So, if everyone is charging at night, they just cut the power.
That’s why I registered for a 22 kW connection and secured grandfathering rights before they introduce further regulations...

knalltüte6 Oct 2020 21:15Today there was information in the media regarding federal support for e-mobility starting around November. I recall 900€ for charging points. I think Scheuer wants to earn some credit before he ends up in jail.
