Do you have Ikea Pax in your utility room?

I’m considering planning something with Nobilia or Schüller.
Which systems do you have? Ikea Pax or similar?
I would appreciate photos.
I want to design my utility room in an appealing way without mixing different furniture brands—so preferably Ikea Pax or other manufacturers.
There are examples on the Nobilia and Schüller websites. The washer and dryer are then placed raised inside a cabinet. Is this something to be concerned about, or can it be done without any issues?
Or is it better to build masonry platforms?

As I said: photos of how your utility room looks are welcome.

We also have a Schüller solution for 2500.

It always depends on the fittings and room size. For us, it was already a five-figure amount.
Per unit, at Schüller you are looking at between 500 and 800€ (euros).

Why does the washing machine have to be placed in front of the window? Isn’t there another option?
It’s really inconvenient with the pipe in the utility room.
I actually like a low window sill height, but right now it’s impractical in the utility room.

No, it just doesn’t fit anywhere else. The utility room has four walls: one is completely occupied by the heat pump, another has the door and the main utility connection box, the long wall is needed as the only storage space in the house, so the only wall left is the one in front of the windows for the washer and dryer.

Where the image still shows empty space, a washing machine and dryer will be placed; they drain water through the utility sink and its connections. One wall is filled with technical equipment, while two others now house a coat closet and a Billy office cabinet with doors used as a pantry. There are access points to the garden and the kitchen. The room is tiled and unheated, but the equipment generates enough residual heat.

Small utility sink with chrome faucet, gray backsplash panel, pink bucket underneath.

Bright unfinished interior with door and window; broom and dustpan stand in the corner.

We have already paid over €1000 for an 80 cm (31½ inches) and a 40 cm (15¾ inches) tall cabinet from the IKEA kitchen series (which is still in our utility room), and we had to assemble it ourselves. So, I don’t really find the €4000 for our entire utility room, including all the compartments, drawers, stainless steel sink, waste separation system, and installation, to be expensive. The quality of the drawers, etc., from Schüller is at least two levels above that of IKEA.

What can be discussed are the cabinets themselves, because whether premium, IKEA, mid-range, or custom-made, they are all just plywood and way too expensive.

When it comes to houses, it often feels like almost everything is just way too expensive. If you want a nice design or appearance, you probably always have to pay a lot.
