Hello,
I will try to get straight to the point.
Can someone briefly explain the differences between what I would call "prefabricated wooden houses," like Scanhaus Marlow, Danwood, Massahaus, etc., and wooden houses from networks like 81fünf that promote traditional carpentry companies from the local region?
What are the advantages and disadvantages?
Thank you very much.

I believe that window rebate ventilators are louder than a mechanical ventilation system with heat recovery because they are basically holes in the window, allowing outside noise to enter the house, similar to an open window. A mechanical ventilation system with heat recovery doesn’t cause drafts and is quiet at normal operation levels. If you run it at higher power, you can only hear it near the unit.
Did this architect explain the hygiene issues?

I believe that as the builder, you can decide which boards should be used. I find OSB preferable to MDF or chipboard. I’m not sure how much recycled materials like recycled tofu can be used as a binder in OSB, but sometimes you have to set a limit and not expect a house to be built entirely from cereal. Consistency is good, especially when it comes to eco-friendly sustainability, but being overly rigid about it is always an exaggeration. Progress comes from approximation rather than dogmatic ideology.

11ant is right. You can’t build a house out of cereal. Also, if you place so much emphasis on the wall construction, the same applies to the furniture. You omit everything in the wall and then choose furniture that still smells and releases pollutants after one year.
Many sellers play on fears and prejudices.
You can see it here too. Plastic containers, thermos flasks, mold – therefore controlled mechanical ventilation, controlled mechanical ventilation as a dust collector, controlled mechanical ventilation is the only right solution, and so on.
For example, our solid wood wall is glued with less than 1% adhesive. Should I worry about that 1% adhesive or rather about the glue that holds the painter’s fleece on the wall, or maybe the paint on the painter’s fleece?
You need an overall concept with your priorities, and you have to stick to it.

I’m just wondering, in the case of the wall construction, if only one component doesn’t fit well or is too airtight, does the generally more expensive timber construction still make sense? Thanks again for the feedback; this helps me narrow down the direction, since we probably won’t reach a consensus anyway.

I think it’s good when home builders are not completely uncritical consumers – but on the other hand, I also know people who have lived to be perfectly healthy and 100 years old in the standard houses built by the construction company Jupp Schmitz and Son that have populated half the village. No one sent the mortar to a food chemistry lab first. In my opinion, pushing and exaggerating, even with good things, should be done within limits.
