ᐅ Cork vinyl flooring—what type of saw is best for cutting it?

We have ordered a vinyl design floor with integrated cork underlay from Haro, type Disano Classic Aqua, for the house.
It is recommended to cut the floor not with a laminate cutter, but with a circular saw.

The rental service at the hardware store could not help me because they were overwhelmed by this combination and tried to sell me a conventional laminate cutter.

Can a standard table circular saw be used for this? Or would a jigsaw be better? If so, are there any specific requirements for the saw blade besides it being as fine-toothed as possible?

If I remember correctly, our neighbors just used a utility knife.

A table saw works well, of course.
A jigsaw is only suitable for cuts that don’t need to be straight.
Use a wood-cutting blade.
A miter saw would be ideal.
Cut the parts so that any splintering occurs on the underside. This means the saw blade should enter from the top first.

Thank you for your opinion! Isn’t it difficult to make rip cuts with a miter saw?

For longitudinal cuts (and all other straight cuts), use a plunge saw, possibly in a mini version. These have always proven very useful when installing parquet flooring and similar materials.
