Dear homebuilding community,

I have come across something truly incredible. A solid construction house—not made of stone, but of wood—that is also cheaper than either a masonry house or a prefabricated house. I am absolutely thrilled about it. Well, of course, I ended up getting one myself. Wow, I have to say, I have never seen anything like it. The craftsmen who built the house for me had it up within a week, including the roof—they were amazing. I’m still in contact with the carpenter to this day. They are all very friendly and highly experienced people.

But back to the house.

I have to say, it has no noticeable disadvantages; on the contrary! I get to enjoy the benefits of both a solid house and a wooden house at the same time. I never could have imagined that something like this exists!

The house can be built almost without water, so all the usual drying times are eliminated. If desired, the wood isn’t even visible, since everything can be plastered, both inside and outside. My wall has a U-value of 0.17, almost passive house standard, and that’s with a 38 cm (15 inch) thick wall! Where else can you find that? According to information I received, the house can be built up to seven stories high! And the best part: if you want to fix something anywhere, just screw it in, and it’s secure—everywhere.

As you can see, I’m absolutely enthusiastic. Anyone who wants to see such a fantastic house is welcome to visit me. The carpenter who built this amazing house for me has one himself—I saw it before, and I was excited from the very first moment. I just didn’t know such a thing existed before. I almost built a brick house. Thankfully, I met someone who showed me the system.

Finding builders who construct this kind of house is not easy, as most don’t advertise it.

What blew me away was when I was first told that a turnkey house would take about 10 months until move-in. Well, that wasn’t quite true—I moved in by the 7th month because the house was already finished. And that’s with no defects, which has to be emphasized. No mold, nothing.

You can tell I’m thrilled, but I honestly can’t help it 🙂

Looking forward to your comments

Martin

Hello Martin,

With all respect for a self-employed carpenter who has to make sure his bills get paid—this much blatant advertising is still a bit too much!

If you want to promote one of your partners, that is understandable and legitimate—but NOT here on the main homebuilding forum. Besides, don’t underestimate the users here—they can very well spot when something is disguised as something else!

Best regards

So... you’re building a house... completely without any problems – no questions beforehand, and so on. Then you join a forum just to casually share how great everything went 🙄 So...

Wow, I have to have this house..

Are there plants that even put a tree in front of the door that always has lemonade? (Pippi Longstocking)

And does Kufur always pick me up and fly me to work? (The NeverEnding Story)

Is there also a table in the house that sets itself and the most delicious dishes appear out of nowhere?

Looks like someone had a bit too much to drink on Rose Monday?
But I'm glad you don’t have any mold when moving in yet! I also think it’s great that you can put a screw in any wall! After all, that’s what building your own house is for! Now that I think about it, I can do that too?! Fantastic!!!!
