Hello,
we are currently looking for a construction company (masonry/concrete construction) to build our house. However, those we contact either do not respond or it takes a very long time to get answers. We have a preferred company from the town where we live (our first conversation was 2.5 weeks ago). Unfortunately, they have not replied for over two weeks now (they are not on vacation).
Now the question: Do you possibly know a construction company you can recommend? And is it normal for responses to take several weeks?
Thank you in advance.

Take your own ideas with you, be open, listen carefully.
Check out Liaplan online, that’s the type of stone they build with.
We have Ultra08.
Advantages for us: no ventilation system, no cavity insulation in front of the walls, simply solid construction plastered inside and outside. Ok. Thanks for the tip.
Some builders may not yet realize that there is such a thing as a reversal of the burden of proof even in a market economy, and that seller’s markets turn approaches that were common in buyer’s markets upside down. Times are changing.
But you have now received some contacts here where you can proceed more skillfully on your further path.

But you have now received some contacts here, where you can proceed more wisely going forward. Yes. And some have responded. Including our preferred local candidate. Unfortunately, with an offer that has significant gaps. Is that normal, or can you judge the company based on the first offer?

Unfortunately, the offer has significant gaps. Is this normal, or can you judge the company based on the first quote? Honestly, given the quality of your request for a quote, it would hardly be fair to attribute complaints about the offer’s quality to the provider. Reflect on this, improve the quality of your inquiry (including better preparation of the communication process), and only then draw conclusions from the quality of the offers you receive. Based on how you have asked so far and the responses (including those not received), in my opinion, you should take the approach of “let it go” — this way you give a chance for a more positive outcome.

We met with the managing director and exchanged views for about 1.5 hours.
