Hello everyone,
a quick question for those of you who have already completed building your house. Was there a moment when you thought, "Oh no, what did we actually choose here? This doesn’t look at all like we imagined it would?"
We are currently having some doubts about the tiles in the hallway. Maybe that will change after the painter has finished and the furniture, especially the staircase, is in place.
How was it for you?
Best regards
Herr Stein

I really struggled for a long time with choosing the window designs.Good things take time. The combination of all the details is complex, and that naturally requires careful consideration. Your project shows that you are deeply engaged with the overall picture. That’s why it will turn out wonderfully. I recommend being cautious if you don’t face several challenging aesthetic decisions during your home building project. Either someone is only focused on the budget calculator or they let others make the choices. The results tend to be less harmonious in such cases.

I do have one question though: Unfortunately, I couldn’t find your bathtub faucet. I’m interested in the manufacturer and model of both the bathtub and the faucet. A picture would be great too. I’m still considering installing a freestanding tub. I’ll try to take a picture tomorrow. I need to check the bathtub for you. The faucets are from Vola. The only thing that was decided before construction started was that we would install Vola. For me, it’s a classic above all else; the design is over 70 years old and hasn’t changed since then.

The bathtubs and faucets are stunning both visually and to the touch (the prices are not exactly modest).K

Really beautiful bathtubs, definitely! But my budget would be more around max. 4-5K instead of 9-24K.
Still, thanks. I need to see for myself in real life how the price reflects in appearance and feel.

When I share ideas like these, it’s only meant to be inspiration. You really have to love your bathtub a lot to become this “impractical.” But who knows...
In terms of style, a very simple industrial handcrafted copper pipe installation can also be wonderful – and it probably costs significantly less than ready-made designs.
