Hello everyone,

We applied red lime felt plaster with a 1mm (0.04 inch) grain size in two rooms, partly over gypsum plaster and partly over red lime base plaster. It all looks great.
Now I’m looking for a good silicate paint that is also affordable. Could you recommend paints based on your experience?
Prices vary from about 30€ to several hundred euros.

I would appreciate any recommendations.

Best regards,
Olli

Which color, white?
In that case, I can recommend the Alligator Kieselit Bio-Mineral. We also have the Rotkalk Felt 1.

Yes, the majority will be white, and a small part will be a light beige.

See above, I edited it.
For beige, you have a wide selection; many suppliers offer pastel shades. For more vibrant colors, you need to search longer. In that case, I chose Sto, which was significantly cheaper than Keim and turned out great.
