Hey,

I’m interested in your experiences with flooring. Maybe you could share a picture as well?

What types of flooring and colors have you chosen for the different living areas?
How many different types of flooring do you have?

Has anyone had experience with resin-bound stone floors or similar and can share their thoughts?

Have a nice Sunday.

Poor thermal transmittance because cork insulates.
Wood also has low thermal conductivity.
That’s why nowadays there are cork and parquet flooring specifically designed for underfloor heating. There’s no need to worry.

Hello @Steffi33,
is there anywhere I can read about how you installed your heating system?
Wall or ceiling heating? I can’t see any underfloor heating here.
If it hasn’t been mentioned yet, would you be willing to share? I want a floor like that myself, but my building services engineer “warns me” about significantly increased effort, especially in terms of cost.

Hello superzapp, we have installed standard radiators in the rooms with wooden floors. See photo. Only the tiled rooms have underfloor heating.

Great, thanks for the information. It looks very cozy. Unfortunately, I don’t have that much space.

Did installing standard radiators cause any issues for the heating engineer due to the required higher flow temperature?

Did connecting standard radiators cause any problems for the heating technician?
Hardly any for the heating technician, that’s part of their everyday work. More likely for the budget.
