Here is our floor plan. Maybe someone still has a few useful tips for us... We would really appreciate it.
It is a semi-detached house in the Bauhaus style...

Could you open the door in the study?
Bathroom window on the upper floor? Oh right, daylight comes through the glass box (bedroom).
Closet door drawn in quickly? Already mentioned, it gets stuck in the masonry.
The gallery seems to be the most important room? With 26m² (280 sq ft).
Ground floor:
Spacious entrance area, first you have to sit down on the armchair to get through?
Guest bathroom window?
In general, itâs great when Iâm comfortably sitting on the sofa and the teenagers go upstairs.
The flat screen in the middle of the room is great, but you could do without the windows it blocks.
Iâm stopping here, donât feel like continuing.
But one thing you have: not a run-of-the-mill house!

Again.... Why redesign the entire plan??? Itâs not supposed to be a standard cookie-cutter house...
Hereâs the floor plan with furniture again... as you can see, we even have a kitchen...
You can also go from the dressing room into the bedroom... Unfortunately, you canât open the door in the dressing room because the wardrobe is in the way.
On the other side, the wall would have to be demolished to install the door.
In the bedroom, the bathroom door hits the bedside table.
With a bit of momentum into the office, and the other person suddenly sits very close to the screen.
The kitchen cabinets are stacked right on top of each other.
If youâre a bit broader, you canât even get into the kitchen because there is only 50 cm (20 inches) of space on each side.
Also a clever idea for âeasy weight loss.â
In the basement, the staircase is quarter-turn with 14 steps and 3.50 m (11.5 ft) long. Upstairs, the staircase is straight with 17 steps and 5 m (16.4 ft) long. Suddenly, I magically add 3 steps... Harry Potter sends his regards.
Surely, you havenât thought about the water supply and drainage pipes yet either.
Looking at the basement including the staircase from an amateurâs perspective, I suspect the structural engineer wouldnât exactly be thrilled either.
In short, a complete circle!
Just drop it. The designs keep getting worse.
OK, good. I accept the feedback.
There is a basement, and the stairs to the basement are located next to the kitchen stairs.
However, planning a floor plan for this house is not very easy. As mentioned, it is a semi-detached house, so there are no windows on the left side. The guest bathroom has no window. I have already drawn many possible floor plans using this program. Although the house is very large, Iâm not quite sure how to arrange everything more space-efficiently (the hallway upstairs is much too large). We will, of course, hire an architect. I also know from the structural calculations that there will be columns in the living room. Should I consider moving the study to the ground floor? Of course, regarding the stair steps, the program didnât handle that perfectly, and I wonât place the furniture exactly as shown. But how could I best arrange the rooms on the upper floor with this floor plan?
The kitchen has always been where it is now, so I wanted to keep it there. I initially had it in the back right corner, where the bathroom is currently located.
Fortunately, we still have some time. Construction wonât start for another two years. We have already cleared some space in the gardenâremoved 20 fir trees...
Maybe someone still has another idea. But as I said, it is a semi-detached house.

Maybe someone else has another idea... But, as I said, it is a semi-detached house...I have now also found a website where they send you your floor plan within 48 hours... I will try that out. As I said, it is really difficult to draw a floor plan for a semi-detached house, because one side has no windows....
