Hello,

which window suppliers (including online-only retailers) have you had good experiences with regarding contact, value for money, delivery, complaints, etc.?

I know that the bigger challenge is finding someone who can properly install the windows... but I already have that covered. They have allowed me to purchase the windows myself.

So it’s purely about ordering and delivering around 15 uPVC windows and 3 lift-and-slide doors for a single-family house.

We got our windows from BayWa. No problems at all, even the replacement of two panes with encapsulation was handled smoothly.

Where exactly in Upper Bavaria?

Of course, I can say here too: lift-and-slide doors made of plastic can work as long as we are talking about total widths of 250 to 350cm (98 to 138 inches); for wider ones it’s better to choose aluminum, and for narrower sizes, better to avoid lift-and-slide doors.

That’s a dangerous keyword—buying and installation from two different sources is not a happy combination.

So, now I have practically responded at the invitation of a moderator anyway. Actually, the question smells too much like wanting to get the whole package 50 units cheaper, which I don’t want to facilitate.
