Hello, I hope there is someone here who knows more about Homematic than I do...

In our new build, we are using 3 Homematic roller shutter actuators combined with a 6-button Homematic wall switch. These devices were paired by the general contractor or their electrician.

I have now purchased an access point to manage the system more conveniently.

However, after connecting the access point to the router and seeing the blue light, I am unable to pair or read in the wireless switch via the mobile app.

After consulting with the electrician, he said I have to reset everything to factory settings so that the components can be integrated into the new access point.

From the Homematic manuals, I am not sure: is it enough to pair the wall switch that controls the 3 actuators with the access point so it appears in the mobile app and can be configured, or do I also have to register each individual roller shutter actuator in the access point memory?

How did the electrician pair the actuators without an access point?
Our BROLL devices have a small button to start the pairing process. Then the device code must be entered.

Each switch and actuator must be stored individually.

There is a small reset button on the actuators. After that, pair them by entering the code on the switch, and you’re done. It’s actually quite simple.

I have managed to get it working by now. Currently, I am struggling to assign the three roller shutter actuators with the corresponding button configuration to the six-gang wall switch.
