Hello everyone,

We are currently building our end townhouse and are generally very satisfied.
The only issue is the awkwardly designed kitchen (see attached floor plan). We would like to have a larger kitchen.
We appreciate any ideas and are even willing to give up the guest toilet if that is possible.

Did I forget anything?

Looking forward to your responses.
Best regards,
Ouissam

Do you need a large TV on the ground floor?
If not, you could swap the kitchen with the sofa/TV area.

How are you supposed to fit in this tiny kitchen together with the sofa? Or have you already mentally removed the guest bathroom and cloakroom?

If only minor changes are possible or desired: You might consider changing the kitchen window (facing the garage) from a floor-to-ceiling window to one with a 1.20m (4 feet) sill height. This way, you are not restricted to ending the kitchen countertop directly in front of the window.

Is there anything else that can be done about the garage location?
Will there be a response to this?

We initially considered that as well, but I don’t think it would be allowed because the new development has to look uniform from the start. Still, good idea.. Thanks
