We have an appointment with the expert tomorrow, and he says it will cost about 450 euros, depending on the complexity of the building project. But he also mentioned that he can give us some advice, so hopefully it will be more helpful than just filling out the application...
I can report back tomorrow...

He is absolutely right here. There is no standard flat rate, as every construction project is unique. There are small buildings with quite extensive, complex geometry (more elaborate), as well as large ones that are fairly simple and straightforward (more affordable).

It should. Since he is already involved, he should also take care of the initial survey at the same time. Overall, that usually turns out to be more cost-effective.

For us, it cost 350€ for solid construction without a basement and controlled residential ventilation with an exposed roof truss. 250 m² (2,690 sq ft) heated and 65 m² (700 sq ft) unheated.
