Hello,

is it possible to tell from the data in the image how wide the plot next to the house is (marked in orange)? Unfortunately, the numbers don’t make sense to me.

Thank you very much

It will be about 4.50 meters (15 feet) at the back and 5.20 meters (17 feet) at the front. What you see drawn there are the wall heights folded into the building footprint: contrary to common assumptions, setback distances from the property boundary are not fixed at 3 meters (or 2.50 meters (8 feet), depending on the federal state), but rather, depending on the regional building codes, are proportions of the building height / eaves height / wall height. Apparently, this house has an initial height of 6.465 meters (21 feet 2 inches) plus roof structures or recessed exterior wall sections (or a gable) adding 4.99 meters (16 feet 4 inches), of which one third is included in the calculation. Half of the sum of 6.465 meters and one third of 4.99 meters (that is, 1.66 meters (5 feet 5 inches)) results in a setback of 4.07 meters (13 feet 4 inches) from the property boundary. The dimensions you are asking for can only be roughly estimated based on this.

Yes, if we knew exactly which measurements you mean. Here are a few suggestions:

His question could only be answered with yes or no.

What is your answer?
But you are absolutely right, Yvonne. My answer was rushed, imprecise, and unclear.
First, we need to clarify:
Who is meant by "one"?
Which data is being referred to?
What activities are meant by "identify"?
Which lines represent a property boundary?
What do the orange lines indicate?
Which numbers does the original poster expect to get information from?
