Bertram10011 Apr 2020 22:49Hello,
In the plan, you can see the bathroom as I have designed it. Now I have learned from the builder that the ventilation will be installed on the side wall. I have marked the location in green.
I am wondering if I should also install a simple exhaust fan above the shower. I’m also unsure how the step affects the shower ventilation. The air enters through the ventilation slot and is then directly drawn in by the step. The shower is in a dead zone, isn’t it? By the way, the glass wall shown is 2m (6 ft 7 in) high, and the ceiling height is 2.50m (8 ft 2 in). The wall at the foot of the shower is only 1.20m (3 ft 11 in).
Should I have an additional ventilation installed? The plumber says it’s unnecessary but cannot clearly explain how the shower will be properly ventilated.
I hope you can help me and have some good advice on how to ensure adequate ventilation in the bathroom.

In the middle of the ceiling.I placed it on the exterior wall just below the ceiling and set a relatively high air exchange rate. It's not completely quiet, but very effective!Similar topics
