Hello everyone,
I have another question.
We want to replace the doors in our prefabricated house. However, the wall thickness is only about 6.5cm (2.6 inches), so finding suitable door frames is difficult. I have a contact who installs parquet flooring and also fits doors. Unfortunately, the local manufacturer he works with does not offer door frames that narrow. I did find some options online. Since I would prefer to get the doors themselves through my contact, my question is whether it is possible to simply buy the door frames from a different shop and then source the doors locally? They should be standardized in some way, right? I made sure that the color tone matches (frame: CPL RAL 9016, door according to the catalog: lacquered RAL 9016).
Can these be combined like this, or what else should I consider? If it’s possible, I would order the frames online and have my contact source the doors.
Thanks!

Better to get everything from a single source. Don’t rely solely on RAL colors. The fine print usually says something like “similar to RAL XXXX.”
Moreover, even if the color matches exactly, differences in substrates, textures, and materials will still cause variations – as tom already mentioned.
That won’t work out.
Get sample pieces of both the door frame and the door leaf to compare them directly.
I’m also not recommending for the first time to start a construction project by obtaining a RAL color fan deck. It’s a well-invested ~50€ (~50 USD) that you can later resell through classifieds.

Hm, okay. Then I will probably buy all the doors and frames online.
I have one more question. I measured the wall thickness again today, and it is 65mm (2.6 inches).
According to the website, there are now two options for the frame:
50 (50–65mm / 2.0–2.6 inches)
70 (65–85mm / 2.6–3.3 inches)
Which one makes more sense for better stability? Frame 50 or 70? In theory, I can choose because both fit, right?!?

I would go with the larger one, since your wall is unlikely to be exactly 65mm (2.5 inches) thick throughout its full height. You can neatly cover the connection to the wallpaper with acrylic sealant.
