I have already tried searching on Google but never really found anything definitive:
How large does a boiler room need to be for a brine/water heat pump plus a central ventilation system?
Are there any required clearance distances for this?

Since space will likely be very limited: are there possibly options to install the buffer storage tank under a spiral staircase?

Your utility provider, for example for electricity or water, can help you with that. Each one has its own required minimum distances.

And you are welcome to read up on it here:

There are also brine-to-water heat pumps that already have the buffer tank integrated. This saves a lot of space.

Would any of you have an idea of your space requirements? It would really help me a lot with the rough planning.

Buffer tanks are usually omitted.
