ᐅ First step toward the new open-plan kitchen! Is this design feasible?

Good morning,

we have now reached the point where we need to think about the kitchen in our new build.
The current plan looks like this:

2D kitchen floor plan with sink, stove, and base cabinets in L-shape

It was very important to us that the oven/microwave and dishwasher are not located at floor level.
We have not yet decided whether to install a downdraft extractor or a slanted hood. However, due to the ventilation system, we need an automatic extraction duct to the exterior wall, similar to a Flow Star 150.

The initial quote shocked us a bit. After some calculations, the kitchen planner came up with 12,000 euros (without appliances) for a Nobilia kitchen with good gloss fronts and mid-range drawers.

3D floor plan of an interior: white kitchen unit, red floor, white furniture structures

Since the space is quite limited, would you do anything differently?
Any tips or comments?
How do you assess the price in relation to the kitchen?
Since the manufacturer uses standard sizes, would you prefer to buy from a large furniture store or from a smaller kitchen studio?

Thank you for your help!

Do you have an open kitchen? Why then do you fill it up with tall cabinets?

I can only agree with @Pinky0301 on that. You build an open kitchen and then isolate yourself like this. Also worth mentioning ... there is hardly any space between the sink and the cooktop ... which is actually the main work area.

And, becoming more and more puzzling to me, why would anyone put the cooktop against the wall and then waste great base cabinet storage space for a downdraft extractor?

The wall on the right is perfect for the refrigerator and oven. Place the cooktop where the oven is now. The dishwasher will go under the oven.

So, the open kitchen is more a result of space constraints than a desire for an unobstructed view.
Regardless, we want the dishwasher to be built-in at counter height, so it cannot be installed in a base cabinet. I find placing the oven directly next to the refrigerator somewhat problematic due to the heat generated when baking.
We were considering a downdraft extractor for aesthetic reasons, to avoid running a visible exhaust duct across to the exterior wall.

There are also recirculating extractor hoods, which means no visible ducts.
