Good morning,
We are currently building a nice new house for ourselves.
Yesterday, we had a site inspection with our drywall contractor. He plans to start insulating (24cm (10 inches) glass wool) and installing drywall underneath our concrete tile roof with nail plate trusses.
Since we place great importance on good sound insulation, he will construct the ceiling with a diamond + silentboard gypsum drywall to create a sound-decoupled system.
Now to the main question:
He mentioned the lighting—standard recessed ceiling lights apparently create significant sound bridges and should be avoided.
Can you confirm this?
What alternatives do we have?

Thanks in advance for your answers.

I have never heard of that.

What does your drywall installer recommend?

Anything that creates a hole anywhere is a sound bridge, but it depends on what measures are taken to address it.

And yes, what exactly does he suggest?

He said there are apparently special light fixtures with sound insulation, or that we should use surface-mounted fixtures.

Does anyone know of ceiling lights with built-in soundproofing?

There are special lighting fixtures available for every purpose, but the question is whether they are truly necessary.
