Hello everyone,
to those of you who have a pantry: what kind of shelving do you have inside? We wanted to put in the Ikea Boaxel shelving unit or the Ivar shelving, but due to the door they don’t quite fit. What alternatives are you using?

Oh dear, oh dear, and still you get likes for that. I don’t appreciate anything resembling a clutter room in the house, so no basements or attics either. I want it to be "nice" everywhere. With all the nonsense you talk, you’ll never get a house.P

I didn’t mean to offend you, please accept my apologies. You’re right, no need to apologize. A storage closet is fine in a student apartment, but please not in a single-family home.
She is not right. Neither are you. You are being intrusive. You are judging other people’s lives. You can like Tomtom’s posts, ignore them, or if you don’t like him, like you do, simply stay silent. But sentences like these are intrusive:
“A storage room in a student flat is fine, but definitely not in a single-family house.”
Why not? Who decides that? What is the standard for wrong or right?
So, go ahead and criticize me, I don’t care. Karsten

We used Ikea Platsa for our cabinets and had a countertop made to place on top. This way, you have at least some cupboards or drawers. For the rest, we used a rail system. We measured each board and ordered them online. Prices ranged from 20 to 80 per board, with the 201x51cm (79x20 inches) board costing 80. I think that’s quite reasonable. There is also a huge color selection and a wide range of materials available, from MDF and particleboard to plywood.
