Hello everyone,
Since I have no prior experience, I would like to get some general information.
Our new building will be heated using an air-to-water heat pump.
What would generally and overall be the advantages, potential savings, and costs of installing a photovoltaic system on the roof? Is it worthwhile or not?

Is it possible to program the system so that the surplus is not fed into the grid? It should only supply the heat pump. Doesn’t anyone (utility provider) notice that the initial meter reading is higher than the final reading?! It can be programmed, but the appropriate modules (e.g., Home Manager) must be available for that. But if the meters are already installed anyway, why give up the feed-in tariff?
When connected to temporary construction power, there is no compensation anyway. A setup meter is installed there, which usually has a non-return valve. If not, as mentioned, it is technically "not allowed." If photovoltaic power is available, the meter simply won’t run.

An SMA Home Manager would be included anyway because of the south-facing orientation and specifically for the heat pump. Can your heat pump also work with the SHM2.0? In our setup, the SHM controls our heat pump, but we only increase the domestic hot water temperature, while the underfloor heating is raised by just 0.5°C (0.9°F). When the sun is shining, the temperature inside the house—just due to sunlight in the living room, for example—reaches around 27°C (81°F) like yesterday.
