Hello,

Unfortunately, I couldn't find anything in the search regarding my question....
Can someone tell me the annual heating energy demand per square meter allowed for a KfW 40 / 40 plus house?

Our development plan states that we must stay below 15 kWh per square meter per year, and we hope this is achievable with a KfW 40 house.

We are "only" KfW55 and a heating demand of 19 kWh/m².

Without knowing your house, that sounds to me more like the value from the Energy Saving Ordinance for a heat pump, which is something quite different...

The heating demand is initially unrelated to the heating system.
It is possible to build passive houses that only meet the KfW55 standard. These perform significantly better in terms of heat transfer coefficient (HT'), but are poor regarding primary energy demand.

The key sentence in the development plan (page 1) states 30 kWh/m²a for primary energy demand (verified according to the energy saving ordinance / energy performance regulation) and 15 kWh/m²a for heating demand (verified using PHPP). The heating demand calculated with PHPP differs from the calculation method used in the energy saving ordinance / energy performance regulation.

No, that is indeed the heating energy demand, which is also included in the KfW calculation for the house. However, it is not always listed separately.

Calculation and verification of the heating energy demand of a building, KfW application, EnEV.

Just as @Effizientix already mentioned in the previous post.

Still surprisingly low. Without more details or knowledge of the specific circumstances, it doesn’t make much sense to me at first. But it doesn’t matter – that doesn’t help the original poster anyway.

I would say this is the electricity demand from the energy saving regulation calculation – otherwise very unlikely
