Hey,
I’m interested in your experiences with flooring. Maybe you could share a picture as well?
What types of flooring and colors have you chosen for the different living areas?
How many different types of flooring do you have?
Has anyone had experience with resin-bound stone floors or similar and can share their thoughts?
Have a nice Sunday.

So far, our supply temperature has only been a maximum of 28-30 degrees Celsius (82-86°F) during what seems like a relatively mild winter, and we don’t have an optimal design for the underfloor heating (pipe spacing between 10cm (4 inches) and 20cm (8 inches) depending on the room). Yet, the tiles feel very pleasantly warm underfoot, even at night when the underfloor heating is off. So I can’t quite agree with your statement that tiles feel cold at a maximum supply temperature of 30 degrees Celsius (86°F).

I have used a lot of warm-to-the-touch vinyl as well as luxury vinyl tiles (LVT), and I am now leaning more towards tiles and baseboards. Vinyl always feels comfortable underfoot, and whether the heating is on or off is not noticeable by foot. With tiles, you can feel whether the underfloor heating is on or not. They feel cool instead of cold when the heating is running. Our luxury vinyl tiles are somewhere in between, always a bit cool but never cold.

We were very relieved several times to have wooden floorboards in the living areas (on a wooden substructure, not glued down). Our grandchildren love to run around the house, and especially the little ones have had some hard falls—sometimes hitting their heads on the floor. There were a few tears, but fortunately, no serious injuries. It’s hard to imagine what would have happened if we had hard tiles instead. Best regards, Steffi33

You can’t just say something is true and then claim that someone else is lying, in this case me.
@Tego12 since when is this about heat pumps? It’s still about the flooring.
