Inspired by other "picture threads," I think it would be great if you could share photos of your wood-burning stoves, preferably with comments or notes, as we are still looking for ideas.

I really like the stoves by Focus, but they exceed our budget.

I also like stoves that allow you to see the fire from three sides.

Those who have resources can use them. Everyone has to figure out how to get the best out of the means available.

I have two children, so I don’t need to buy “expensive” furniture with a special feel... it inevitably changes under the influence of the little vandals anyway, turning into something… let’s say… different…

into something that can’t be bought again for any amount of money.

Childproofing is another important criterion. There are certainly many more.

Not attractive, but rare?

You don’t have to rush to Lutz, but these kinds of tables are really popular right now. You can find them everywhere—thick solid wood tops with steel frames. You can buy the same quality for $1,000 or $5,000; they’re just furniture, so the markup is similar to mattress stores.

There are quite a few stores that currently specialize in these tables, often local suppliers. They usually offer 3 to 4 different steel frame options and a selection of solid wood slats, then handle only the final assembly and finishing. Usually quite affordable for top quality—just with a modest margin and relying on volume.

I’m familiar with falling in love with overpriced stuff, but then not checking if it’s cheaper elsewhere after buying... Happens way too often.

I’m less interested in the table—I have a lively oak tabletop myself... but the chairs! I still need those. Where can you find them? And what is the seat height?
