Hey,

which location would you prefer for the electrical outlet?

In the corner on the exterior wall or next to it on the interior wall?

Always to the right side, and only single sockets. For safety reasons. This goes without saying.

Interior walls are always better!

Hmm... I would have rather expected it on the exterior wall. This way, no space inside the room is lost due to power outlets, LAN, or satellite sockets.

And what if something needs to be placed against the exterior wall? It gets darker outside than cold inside... The electrician is usually reluctant to install an outlet on the exterior wall, I'll be frank about it. Also, it makes more sense to place a dresser in front of an outlet rather than next to it if there is a lamp on the dresser powered by that outlet.

Here is the corner for reference:

This way, the usable space on the left wall wouldn’t be reduced because of the electrical boxes, if they were placed to the left of the window.

Hmm... The electrician didn’t see any issue with the exterior wall.

Window in an unfinished wall; construction scaffold visible outside and construction work apparent.
