Hello everyone,
this thread is meant to be a bit more positive .
I’ll start: these are things I would definitely do again:
- Brick facade (but only a fully colored one)
- Clay brick
- Two stories
- Controlled residential ventilation system
- Smart home
- Minimum clear ceiling height of 2.60m (8.5 feet)
- Large windows
- Open-plan design
What about you?
Best regards

A quick question to all double sinks owners: if you were to build a bathroom again, would you skip having a double sink? We renovated the bathroom in our old house → turned two sinks into one, so we got rid of one completely, but it was a small bathroom.
Now in the new house we have a single sink set on a 170cm (67 inches) countertop, so there is plenty of counter space...

From what I’ve seen in quite a few family homes, usually only one of the two sinks gets used. For example, in my parents’ house...
If you have the space and more than two people in the household, go ahead and get a second one.

I totally lose it when my wife uses my sink . Crazy how young people think these days.
We even share the same towels, sleep in the same bed... we’re the first ones awake in the morning... like the seven dwarfs.

No, I wouldn’t want to do without that anymore.
However, it should really be a double sink, not a single large one with two faucets.
I use mine with my child – and wipe it down almost daily (mainly because of toothpaste residue from the little one), including the faucet. He doesn’t do that, and well, you can definitely see the difference.

We do not need a second washbasin in one bathroom.
I have my own bathroom with a toilet in the attic, where I keep my things, and then there is the main bathroom where I go if I need to get ready. I prefer to have privacy in the bathroom and wouldn’t want to brush my teeth with someone else there.
