Heidi196514 Dec 2019 14:48Hello, we want to build a house on a site where we previously demolished an old one. This is considered building within an existing property. An architect created a design. Ground floor area: 10 x 14.5 m (33 x 48 feet), with a separate apartment for one person upstairs. A structural engineer was hired to prepare the structural calculations—219 pages in total. The cost just for the structural calculations was €4,285 including VAT. Is this normal?
