I would recommend every builder invest the 54€ in purchasing the "Guide for Planning and Execution of the Installation of Windows and Exterior Doors for New Construction and Renovation" from the RAL Quality Association. It basically contains all the necessary information. You might even be able to find a used copy (current edition from 2014).

Ok, so I’ve actually found a "good one"... He installs the windows himself and only orders them after taking the measurements himself!

Alternatively, you can hire an expert to supervise and inspect the installation...

It is still worth questioning why it is so much cheaper.

So far, I have obtained five quotes regarding the windows... This one is not the cheapest, but also not the most expensive, and so far one of the few that seems trustworthy! Whether the installation will be carried out professionally and neatly can probably only be seen afterwards, but that risk exists with the others as well.

Just ask him how he installs it. Does he follow RAL standards?
Is it foil installation or just compression tape? Or even foam party?
