ᐅ Bathroom Design: Combining a Guest Bathroom with a Children's Bathroom?

Hello,
some of you may have followed the planning thread. Since we don’t want the guest toilet to be a walkthrough to the utility room, nor place an unused circulation space between the utility room and the guest toilet, we will access the utility room in the traditional way through the kitchen or net floor area.
This provides a bit more space for the bathroom layout, but it’s not entirely clear how it can be best used. We initially planned the guest toilet rather simply and minimally as an internal bathroom. Now we are considering using the space to plan the guest toilet as a separate children’s bathroom.
The rough dimensions of the children’s bathroom would be 1.70 m (5 feet 7 inches) wide—as it is currently in our apartment—and the master bathroom would be 2.20 m (7 feet 3 inches) wide (you can compare this room width to Horbach’s sample bathroom Samoa). Both rooms would be 3.70 m (12 feet 2 inches) long.
The children’s bathroom will have a space-saving bathtub installed “slightly angled,” while the master bathroom will feature only a walk-in shower.
Would this concept be feasible?
Good luck

The main point is that we are building a Town & Country Bungalow 131, and this is the chosen starting point. However, no one wants to accept this and instead tries to convert me to what they believe is better. So, my ideas are being weighed against their own, even though the real comparison should be with the B131 model itself.
Let’s take the current example of laundry sorting: please explain to me how the standard B131 floor plan is better suited for this.

The main point is that we are building a Town & Country Bungalow 131,You are not building with T&C, nor does T&C have any influence on this house. I also recall that you even changed the length. Wow. T&C is only anchored in your mind because you know their price or you inquired about it from your builder. You’re afraid of exceeding the possible price if you deviate from that model. But anyway: a rectangular shape can work, and if that’s what you want, that’s fine. But not adjusting by even 20 or 50 cm (8 or 20 inches) outward or whatever, just to fit standard dimensions, is a bit odd—especially since this constraint exists only in your head. There may well be enough space on the plot...

please explain to me – in what way the standard layout of the B131 is better suited here.Who says the B131 from T&C is great? Better suited? I would never build it. I never favored or used it as a reference layout. You’re the one who brought it up. Okay, to answer your question: the utility room in the 131 is easily accessible from all areas.I just want to add something regarding your initial question. Keep the two bathrooms as shown in the first overall plan of your latest post. Under no circumstances put the laundry in the guest toilet. I empty the three laundry baskets from the upper floor, for example on the floor, and then sort the laundry into the laundry tubs. I don’t know how others do it, but this is the method all my acquaintances use. You need space for this, and there will naturally be some items lying around that guests definitely don’t want to see or should not see.
The children will most likely shower in the bathtub as well. So make sure to choose a tub with a sufficiently flat standing area. There are special models designed for this purpose.

The main point is that we are building a Town & Country Bungalow 131, and this is the chosen starting point. You’re not doing that at all! You’re neither building with Town & Country nor is it this bungalow, since you have already changed everything 100 times. Not even the external dimensions match. What does this design have to do with yours? Nothing!

But no one wants to accept this and instead tries to convert me to their supposed idea of happiness. Of course, otherwise you might as well just build the B131 as it is.

So my ideas are being weighed against their own ideas, No, we are checking whether your needs are met with your designs. And yes, Fliesen also includes points that you might not have considered yourself but are essential for a functional everyday life.

According to your statements, 80% of homeowners of ‘smaller’ prefabricated houses must be completely unhappy... It hardly gets more misunderstood than that. I just wrote that the happy homeowners are precisely those who do not try to push through perfection beyond the 90%-perfect point! According to Pareto, 90% is already paradise. You can’t gain anything by obsessing further except lowering your happiness index.

The key point is that we are building a Town & Country Bungalow 131, No. First, it is not a Town & Country Bungalow 131 but a completely different house than that former planning basis; second, anyone who thinks the price is comparable would be a fool; and third, you will NEVER actually build it, because you will have perfected the plans to death before then.

To return from the off-topic discussion to bathroom planning: Dryer and washing machine will go back into the utility room. The children's bathroom/guest WC will remain a bathroom with a bathtub. The master bathroom will have only a shower. Clear dimensions are 4 x 3.70 meters (13.1 x 12.1 feet), door approximately 86 cm (34 inches), toilet island arranged asymmetrically.
