Hello everyone,
to keep it short: What do you think about having a bathtub (with whirlpool function) in the bedroom?
Since we are renovating and have to work around the load-bearing walls, the bathroom can’t be large enough to comfortably fit a shower, bathtub, toilet, and double vanity. Because the adjacent master bedroom is very spacious, I have been considering placing the bathtub there.
The advantage is more space in the bathroom. Some questions I have are: Do I still need the rest of the bathroom if I take baths? How will it look visually? Will the humidity cause any problems?
Looking forward to your opinions!

Hmm, well, we once had a whirlpool bathtub in a hotel room. So, in the bedroom/living area, not in the bathroom.
We used it for bathing, but only turned on the whirlpool function briefly once because it was too noisy to relax, although that’s not really the point...
So, it’s not really my thing. You can ventilate the moisture out, and it might even be welcome during winter, but most likely, clothes would just end up piled over the edge... If you enjoy spending a lot of time in something like that, a tidy and well-lit bedroom is probably more pleasant to look at than a bathroom with a toilet and so on...
Oh – kids... well, with children and water fights, having something like that in the bedroom probably isn’t very practical.

I actually think this is just something from glossy brochures and showrooms and definitely counts as poor planning that you’ll regret later.
I mean, eventually you won’t be so spry anymore, and you’ll want to wash yourself alone sometimes (while you still can )
