Uh... now I'm a bit confused. See architect and so on...Exactly: "architect" and so on...
He said that the equipment wouldn’t fit through a 76mm (3 inches) structural opening and therefore wanted to plan part of the wall to the guest room using drywall. I took a look at water storage tanks and similar items and found that they are about 65cm (26 inches) wide, so they should fit through the door, right?
Well, if the appliances are already 65cm (26 inches) wide, there might be brackets around them to make carrying easier, and fingers holding them also need some space. A shell construction of 76cm (30 inches) means a maximum finished width of 71cm (28 inches).
I also find that too narrow.
Is the washing machine also located there? Getting a laundry basket through the door can then be quite tight.
