Hello to the experts

I would like to know

Are there special tiles available?
Is an epoxy resin kitchen countertop recommended or is it rather risky?
Tiles on wood or Wedi boards
Please provide professional advice on the best approach
Thank you very much

I would avoid using epoxy resin in the kitchen, as it can contain various bisphenols.
I can’t assist with the technical implementation.
May I ask what advantages you expect from a tiled countertop?

Hello
- My wife saw it at a neighbor’s and wanted the same, but to be honest, it looks really, really good
- The advantage is that I have peace at home

We have had tiled kitchen countertops in various holiday homes. I found them more time-consuming to clean in everyday use – since cleaning is not one of my favorite activities, I would always avoid them.

My tile installer friend built his countertop entirely out of tile. Two large-format tiles (glued together under a press). It looks really great, is very easy to clean (since there are no grout lines and it has the typical tile surface), and is completely resistant to acids and heat.
