Hello,

I am considering having fiber-reinforced screed with a slope installed in the garage. On top of that, a two-component epoxy resin coating—that would actually be my ideal solution.

What are your experiences with epoxy resin coatings? How durable are they?
How does the material hold up if a tool or part is dropped on it? Can it be repaired easily?

We have a raw concrete slab that is 15cm (6 inches) thick.
The area is approximately 70m² (750 square feet).

We are currently leaning towards stone carpet. My specialist for this kind of work quoted 50€ per square meter (10.7 sq ft) including labor.

Can you provide the supplier and manufacturer? I am still looking for something like this for the driveway.

This is a small one-person business here in our region, around Aschaffenburg.
If I'm not mistaken, you are building near Stuttgart? I can gladly ask him if he takes on projects like that. How many square meters of stone carpet are we talking about?

We are located quite a bit south of Stuttgart, so probably too far away.
I would like to have a resin-bound gravel driveway (permeable) or Elastopave. I am still waiting for the quotes. The €50/m² (approximately $55/ft²) you mentioned seems quite inexpensive to me.
The area is about 250-300 m² (2700-3200 ft²).
As an alternative, we are currently estimating asphalt plus drainage.
We will have cast asphalt in the garage.

And who offers something like that? How much does it cost?
What’s the alternative if you don’t want tiles?

We’re paving our garage continuously together with the driveway.

What happens to the water that runs off from the car? De-icing salt?
The concrete slab probably won't appreciate that over time.
