Hello everyone,
how often nowadays does water need to be refilled in a new building (built in 2016) with underfloor heating?
We have a Viessmann gas boiler and about 140m² (1507 ft²) of heated area.
Currently, I need to refill water about once a year because the pressure drops from 1.5 bar to around 0.9 bar. The underfloor heating only runs about 7.5 of 12 months, and the rest of the time only hot water is produced.
In your experience, is this still within a normal range, or should I start to be concerned?

I bet you don’t own your own house, or you are very dissatisfied with "yours." I am curious to hear the reasoning behind this statement.

I’m curious about the reasoning behind this statement. It’s really frustrating to tell someone who is currently seeking help and possibly worried—without knowing the cause of the problem—that it’s going to be expensive. That comment adds absolutely no value. Not only that, it can be really annoying.
In my opinion, only people who are very unhappy with their own situation do things like that and take some pleasure in others facing difficulties as well.
But hey, I’m open to being proven wrong.
What do you all think Danixf’s statement is supposed to achieve?

The heating technician and Viessmann both said that this is normal because the internal expansion tank is only there to protect the device and does not actually contain much volume.
PS: I can only agree that I expected somewhat different comments here... Well, that’s great! Then it’s working fine.
And don’t pay too much attention to some of the remarks... Unfortunately, there are dissatisfied people everywhere.
