Hello everyone!

We have purchased a triangular plot of land. As if that weren’t complicated enough, there is also a large oak tree that must be considered during the planning. In our initial considerations, it quickly became clear that the floor plan will have an L-shape.

Does anyone here have experience with this type of plot and a correspondingly shaped floor plan? What additional information is needed to get meaningful advice?

Best regards

I assume the power is turned off.
Cut the cable at the property boundary and keep going.
They have to go around it anyway; if anyone asks, just say it wasn’t anyone.

Compensation claims... I would rather write them off. You don’t need a drawn-out legal process with an uncertain outcome right now.

No. The line is active because all the houses around are connected to it. The line needs to be rerouted, and unfortunately, that takes time...

How can a damaged cable be energized? Who would take responsibility for that?

The cable has been repaired.

Do you absolutely need electricity at the beginning? An excavator operates without cables anyway... Or did I miss something?

Well, the pipeline runs across the property. The excavator (even a diesel one) can’t operate there; it’s too dangerous.
