Hello everyone,
I am very interested in hearing what you liked most about your house after completing the build. Maybe also things that turned out well by chance or features that, in hindsight, made you wonder how you ever lived without them.
Thank you!

Side effect: the light cones cast by the spotlights look like a painting. We didn’t have anything like that on the ceiling before (unfortunately, I don't have a photo of it right now, but the three spotlights create overlapping cones that look great). What are those things on the ceiling? The two above the counter... are those lights?

Müllerin, a bigger TV is out of the question, right? Yes, but that's okay – it's really big enough.
The husband sits in front of the equipment cabinet, so I don’t look that way – but a frosted glass film will still be applied to the lower part of the glass.
My toys are in the display cabinet...

Mito by Occhio.
We saw them and just had to have them – and they are really great!
You can control them directly on the fixture: the top and bottom lights are separate, both dimmable, and the color temperature (warm to cool) is adjustable as well.
The “sky” (the white circles on the ceiling) do not emit light; the technology is installed underneath.
There is also a flexible version available where you can adjust the height, but we didn’t choose that since above the island it is set once and stays that way. That was the right decision—we wouldn’t change the height anymore. For a dining table, I would probably go with the flexible one.
